How do I book a skip?

It’s simple. Click one of the ‘Skip Hire’ links on this website or give us a call on 02922 360 336.

Choose your skip size, pick a delivery date, give us your address details and pay. That’s all there is to it.

How long can I keep my skip?

Accepted Answer

14 days from the day we drop it off.

If you need more time, call us at least 48 hours before the collection date.

The charge will be £40+ VAT for every extra week upto max of 4 weeks total hire.

If you fill your skip before the 14 days are up, call or email and we’ll pick it up as soon as we can.

How much waste will fit in my skip?

We offer a range of skip sizes, so you’ll never have to pay for more space than you need. It can be hard to imagine how much waste each skip size holds, so to make it easier, think about how many bin bags of rubbish you need to clear.
Our full range of skips hold approximately this many bin bags: 
2 yard   skip – up to 20 bin bags6 yard   skip – up to 40 bin bags8 yard   skip – up to 80 bin bags10 yard skip – up to 95 bin bags12 yard  skip – up to 120 bin bags
Fill levels:

Please ensure all waste remains level with or below the top of the skip and does not exceed the sides.
Overfilled skips cannot be transported safely and may require excess waste to be removed before collection. Additional charges may also apply where a skip has been overloaded.

Maximum fill level: All skips must be level loaded, with no waste extending above the sides of the skip. Skips containing inert/heavy materials must not be filled beyond ¾ full.
Keeping your waste within the skip’s fill level helps ensure a safe and straightforward collection.
Here is a genuine but nevertheless anecdotal example of how NOT to fill your skip:

Where do I fill it to?

What happens to the stuff I put in the skip?

We take our environmental responsibilities extremely seriously and go above and beyond to protect the planet.

Our zero waste to landfill policy means we promise to recycle or repurpose as much of the waste that goes into our skips as possible.
Your skip will go to one of our recycling facilities where all the recyclable materials will be separated and sent to a specialist plant for further processing.

Anything left over will go to an energy recovery plant where it can be used to generate green electricity.
